Rag Quilts

Rag Quilts

When I was a child, one of my close friends had a rag quilt, and I remember loving it so much. I spent about 20 years wanting one before I finally just made myself one recently. The process is time consuming but definitely worth it. I am not really a pattern type of person, I tend to “wing it” a lot. There are a few things I would do definitely, but I love how it turned out so much. I took me a while to pick out fabric because I wanted it to have a little bit of everything that I love. When I was looking at Spoonflower, I found an artist and instantly loved every pattern. It was hard to pick designs because I wanted them all. The artist’s name is ohjessmarie. I highly recommend checking out all of the art whether for fabric or a phone screen wallpaper.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I love personalized blankets. So I was very excited to make my own blanket. I love how it turned out, the design patterns were a perfect fit for what I wanted.
