Mom Life: Nails

Mom Life: Nails

Pregnancy was really hard on my body in most ways, but one way that really drove me crazy was that my nails got weaker and dull. After giving birth, I also had substantially less time to meet my own needs, let alone wants. Something that I really missed after having a baby was getting my nails done, on top of not really having the time for it, I also didn’t have the money for it.

About 2 years into being a mom, my mom started giving me these nail polish strips that were a really quick way for me to do my own nails. It is so easy that I can do them in about 5-10 minutes depending on how much effort I want to put into it. They last about 1-4 weeks depending on how much gardening/cooking I am doing. I am really rough on my nails and they last pretty well for me, which is saying a lot. It is especially great that I don’t have to wait for them to dry, because I have ruined my nails every single time I have ever gotten them painted them. I also take collagen to help keep my nails healthy. Which I honestly add to about everything. Some examples are baked goods, drinks, and yogurt.
