Family Day: Gilmore Girls

In our family, fall is a top season for us. My husband and I really love fall. But my love for fall dates back to my early childhood. Fall isn’t really a thing in California. So it is a bit of a novelty still. But my mom, sister, and I used to watch Gilmore Girls a lot together. In addition to being a comfort show, we also just love the fall vibes. I decided that I wanted the kids to have a family fall day, so we got the straw bales for the maze, inspired by their spring fling’s hay bale maze, and tractor rides. I didn’t take many pictures of everything. But we did antique clock making for Kim’s antiques, which the kids keep in their play kitchens. We also did story time with a Gilmore Girls book.

We had fall drinks for us and the kids in Luke’s diner cups. Burgers for lunch to channel our own Luke’s diner.

Lastly, we all had to dress up. We picked characters to dress up like. It was super fun and highly recommend for Gilmore Girls fans, even if you dial it back and don’t have your own maze.
