Beach Day: Maryland

Beach Day: Maryland

We went to Assateague Island. There are a couple of beach options there. It was kind of difficult to go to with kids. We took plenty of toys for them to play with, so we could be there for a while. But it was a long walk.

They have rental umbrellas there, which we really needed because it was very hot during our visit. The beach is very beautiful and it is also really cool to see the horses.

Near Assateague, there are some places we went to get food and drinks that were really good.

The Fractured Prune had great donuts. Very simple but good because they were not too sweet.

I got an iced vanilla chai latte from Rise Up Coffee. They also had good breakfast burritos and yogurt bowls. It takes a while for things to be ready, but if you order ahead, it is definitely worth it.
