Cooking & Baking: September

Cooking & Baking: September

I make a lot of our food from scratch, partially because it can be therapeutic but also because it saves us money and allows our family to eat the freshest food available.

I make almost all of our bread products, which includes, ciabatta, white bread, bagels, english muffins, waffles, sourdough bread, and pretzels.

I also make our jams, relishes, pickles, and fruit butters.

I also use a lot of produce from our garden which currently includes tomatoes, squashes, pumpkins, cucumbers, and peppers.

My newest favorite is homemade pasta. Thanks for reading!

Wilder Home Lifestyle

In recent years, I have come to deeply appreciate the process of growing my own produce, raising my own chickens, and finding new ways to eliminate waste. Come along to explore this journey of becoming more grounded in nature and mindfulness.

The goal of this blog is to share some of our favorite creative activities and adventures. My husband and I spend a lot of time creating things together and trying to find affordable ways to improve our lifestyle. Welcome to our blog, we hope you enjoy it!
