Sometimes I find that children are more likely to try something new if it is a cute shape. Today, I made some scones for breakfast when I couldn’t get back to sleep. I love when food looks cute. So I decided to make some heart shaped scones.

Once you’ve made scone dough, you can really make it into any shape. We have made hearts, bears, and tractors in the past. Scone dough is pretty easy to work with once it is completely mixed. So this can be a fun activity to do with children.

These could be so cute for a tea party or a summer treat. Highly recommend making scones with toddlers, it is fun and yummy!
